Currently, the Executive of the Women’s Auxiliary comprises:

- Secretary, Janet Backhouse, 02 9623 9983
The Auxiliary apply their fundraising to worthy causes such as the food hampers it supplies each month for a raffle at the Governor King Day Club
Our Auxiliary meeting is held on the second Wednesday of the month at 11am in the St Marys RSL Club. At present the Auxiliary has 17 members, and new members are welcome.
History of the Auxiliary:
The Auxiliary was formed in March 1947. They met in a little brick building in Queen Street, St Marys. The women worked very hard on street stalls, competitions and raffles to support Legacy and of course the Sub-Branch diggers. The Auxiliary also cooked a hearty breakfast on a primus and "metho" stoves for those attending the annual ANZAC Dawn Service, and held picnic days for elderly diggers, taking them out and supplying them with sweets and "cigarettes".
The Auxiliary celebrated its 60th Birthday in 2007 in the present club auditorium known as Bobbys Room. Once a month our President Dorothy Radford OAM helps the Far Western Welfare Group with afternoon teas for patients at Cumberland House at Parramatta. Picnics are arranged, and there are no "cigarettes" given.
Fundraising:
The Auxiliary raised $5,500 last year, donating $4,500 to Central Council Women's Auxiliary who then pass onto The Welfare & Benevolent Instutition to be distributed to Service people in need. The other $1,000 was donated to Nepean Cancer Council.
We take part in the annual St Marys Spring Festival with a stall selling pre-loved goods and odds and ends. Last year we raised $500.00. A meat raffle is held at the RSL Club on the first Thursday of the month, and seasonal raffles throughout the year. We also help with the ANZAC Day dawn breakfast
